Combat online grooming report

In a time when where 97% of young people in the EU use the internet daily, digital spaces have become central to children’s social lives. This report explores the phenomenon of online grooming and its connection to child disappearance in an increasingly digitalised world. Report design by Hearts&Minds.

Each year over 250, 000 children slip through the net in the European Union. Children go missing for a wide range of reasons, including conflict, violence, abuse and exploitation.

Missing Children Europe is the European Federation for Missing and Sexually Exploited Children connecting 33 grassroot organisations in 27 countries across Europe, all committed to the same goals: to prevent that children go missing, and to protect children from any violence, abuse or exploitation that leads to or results from them going missing.
