The Greens/European Free Alliance in the European Parliament (Greens/EFA) is a political group bringing together Green, regionalist and other member parties and representatives in the European Parliament. The group was established in 1999 and organises its parliamentary work through elected Members, staff, committees and policy teams. Greens/EFA develops positions, participates in legislative negotiations and communicates its priorities across European policy areas. Its stated focus includes climate and environmental protection, social fairness, democracy, human rights, peace and European cooperation. The group also produces publications, events, campaigns and other resources related to its parliamentary and policy activities.
