The European Steel Association (EUROFER) represents steel producers and national steel federations across the European Union. Founded in 1976, it provides a common platform for the European steel industry and communicates the sector’s perspectives to policymakers, stakeholders and the public. EUROFER works on industrial policy, energy and climate, trade, raw materials, circularity, environmental performance and other issues affecting steel production in Europe. The association also develops industry data, analysis and technical expertise, supporting informed discussion about the role of steel in European manufacturing, infrastructure, value chains and the transition to lower-emission industrial production.
